Vincent is the co-founder and Managing Director of ICD Business School. He has over 25 years experience in tertiary education in Ireland and The United Kingdom. Prior to starting his career in the lecturing field he worked for 10 years for CRH plc., Ireland’s largest and most internationalised company, in their Finance and Strategic Planning Department .Vincent is a Graduate of The Marketing Institute of Ireland and holds a Masters in Business Studies from The National University of Ireland.
Before founding ICD Business School in 2001, Vincent was the Head of Business Studies and Accounting at Griffith College Dublin

Prof. Darach Turley began his academic career lecturing in the DIT. He later moved to DCU, Dublin City University. Most of his lecturing and research activity has been in the area of consumer behaviour, an area in which he has presented and published extensively both nationally and internationally. In 2011 he retired as Professor of Marketing at DCU. He currently serves as Director of Academic Affairs at ICD.

Joyce Zhao holds the position of Registrar at ICD Business School. Ms Zhao holds a degree in English from The Shanghai International Studies University along with a BA in Business Studies from QQI in Ireland. Ms Zhao also holds qualifications in The Recognition of Prior Learning in Higher Education, policies, procedures and pedagogies from The Dublin Institute of Technology. Prior to joining ICD Business School, Ms Zhao worked in the International Office at Griffith College Dublin.
James is a co-founder of ICD Business School. He has many years experience in third level education both in Ireland and The United Kingdom.
James holds a BSc in Economics from The London School of Economics and an MSc from The London School of Economics. James is the author of ‘Make that Grade, Economics’ published in Ireland and used by all the major Universities and Institutes of Technology. James also holds a PGCE in teaching. He is a contributor to various financial and economic periodicals.

Kevin O Loughlin (BA,Honours) has lectured in ICD for the past 8 years. His main area of lecturing is in accountancy related subjects and during his time @ ICD he has assisted many students in developing their knowledge of accounting through all stages of their degree programme. He has previously lectured in Griffith College, Dublin Business School and Colaiste Dhulaigh. Kevin brings a light hearted approach to his lectures drawing on his practical experience as director in many business areas including Catering, Bar Trade, Health Food Store and the Alternate Health Industry. He is also a qualified Yoga teacher for the last 12 years.

Sha Li Zhang is the Financial Controller of ICD Business School, she holds a BA in Accounting and Finance from ICD Business School and an MSc in Finance from The Dublin Institute of Technology. Ms. Sha Li ensures the smooth running of the finance function at ICD Business School along with the logistics of timetabling and room allocation.
Michael is a qualified accountant and member of The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, ACCA. Michael has lectured for Waterford Institute of Technology, The Accountancy School and ICD Business School. Michael lectures on both our BA in Accounting and Finance and our Masters in Accounting and Finance.
Students appreciate Michael’s no nonsense approach to subjects and examinations. Michael also lectures these subjects at finalist level ACCA and on Diploma IFRS courses and various CPD courses. Michael is a contributing author to ‘Accountancy Plus’.

June is our Student Liaison Manager, she can be found everyday at the reception area of ICD Business School listening to and solving problems for students. June has worked in the tourism industry in Ireland with some of the country’s 4 and 5 Star Hotels and brings all of these skills with her to her position in ICD Business School. Prior to joining ICD Business School, June worked for Griffith College Dublin, where among a number of roles she held there was the setting up and running the International Students Office.
Shane McCarthy has lectured in the areas of Taxation and Financial Reporting at ICD Business School since 2010. He is an Associate of the Irish Taxation Institute (Chartered Tax Adviser). He holds a Bachelor of Business Studies Degree from Trinity College Dublin and a Graduate Diploma in Education from the University of Limerick..
He has over 15 years lecturing experience at Masters, Degree, Diploma and Certificate levels. He has also lectured extensively for various professional accountancy bodies..
He also works a Tax Consultant for Personal Tax Solutions.
In his (limited) spare time his main interests are football, running, reading, music and travel.

Kai Zhi Li qualified with a BA (Honours) Degree in Human Resource Management from The National College of Ireland. He then graduated with an MSc in Supply Chain Management from The Smurfit Graduate Business School, University College Dublin. Kai Zhi Li lectures in Chinese Studies at ICD Business School on our BA (Honours) In Business Studies with Chinese (Mandarin). In his leisure time Kai Zhi Li is an avid power lifter and all round fitness expert.
Paul is a senior level executive with 34 years’ experience in the financial services arena. He has held positions across the industry within the large institutions, corporate brokerages and has held Senior Management positions in Sales, Marketing and new Business Development. Paul founded and drove the growth of Financial Engineering Network a fee based personal financial planning company.
Paul is proud of his time at FEN, when as Managing Director he oversaw the company’s growth from a standing start to over €7M in turnover and close to seven figures in net profit. Paul is the author of ‘Tricks of the Rich’ and ‘Tactics of the Rich’ both being best sellers in Ireland

Blaithin holds a BA in Hons. in Business (Entrepreneurship) and a Masters by Research in the Cultural Economics. She lectures in IT and Management subjects at undergraduate and post graduate levels, specialising in Information Systems, Entrepreneurship and Cultural Event Management. She currently lectures at ICD Business School and The Institute of Art, Design and Technology, Dun Laoghaire (IADT).
Before entering academia, Blaithin held software engineering and management positions in the localisation sector in Dublin and Paris. Blaithin is bilingual English / French. In her spare time, she is often found planning trips to France.

Li Chao graduated from Beijing Language and Culture University, as an English and literature major. He then studied Humanities and Social Science in Copenhagen University. After that he’s had 17 years’ experience in teaching Chinese and English to children of different ages, adults, business professionals and teachers. Apart from his teaching experience, he founded and managed a language school on his own, also worked as a part-time journalist, an editor, an event host and a product manager, where he has accumulated significant experience in business and education.He is currently teaching Chinese in Ireland, working with various education organisations including ICD, UCD, Clongowes Wood College etc.

Tim McNulty holds a BA in Economics from University College Dublin, he is a Graduate of The Marketing Institute of Ireland and also holds a Diploma in Legal Studies from The Honourable Society of the King’s Inns as well as being a Barrister at Law. Tim is also involved at committee level with The Marketing Institute of Ireland. Prior to starting his career in education Tim worked in the financial services sector with Woodchester Bank and Allied Irish Bank.

Ellen obtained a BA in Industrial Relations from the National College of Industrial Relations, Dublin, winning the Labour Relations Commission Gold Medal Award for the ‘Most Outstanding Dissertation in the field’. She was later awarded a scholarship by the LRC to pursue the Master’s Degree in Industrial Relations and Human Resource Management. After working in industry for a number of years, Ellen pursued and obtained a degree in Law and later post-graduate diploma from the Law Society of Ireland. She also obtained an MA in Mediation and Conflict Management from Maynooth University.
She has a keen interest in education and as part of an MA programme conducted research into the field of second chance education in order to analyse its success in terms of providing a bridge into further education or to the workplace. Over the past twenty years Ellen has been lecturing in the field Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations, Communications and Negotiation and is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. She also has a Diploma in Teaching and Learning Strategies.
In her spare time Ellen is a regular exhibitor at Vintage Car Shows, is an avid football fan and enjoys relaxing and spending time with her family and her three dogs
